Adding simple elegance to holiday decor is accomplished by creating stunning homemade Christmas decorations.
Oh boy, this sweet Christmas decoration is much prettier than this picture shows.
It has a primitive feel, and a simple, classy look. I guess you will have to take my word for it, or you could make this festive craft yourself and then see exactly how delightful it really is.
I love when a craft turns out beautiful and is easy to make. This craft is just that.
It requires few materials, the materials are easy to find and it
doesn't require any special skills to create. What can beat Christmas decorations that are so easy to make?
This majestic simple elegance craft can also be used as home decor all year round, not just at Christmas.
And this exquisite craft can be displayed in any room in your house. Go grab your craft supplies and meet me back here.
Materials:
Instructions:
1. Spray the jar with primer. This will ensure that the paint sticks to the jar and doesn't flake off.
2. Paint the jar dark green and let the paint completely dry. |
3. This is what my jar looked like after 1 coat of paint. I wanted the color to be more solid so I applied 2 more coats of paint. |
4. When the paint is dry grab a sponge and sponge some dark green paint on the jar. This adds some texture to the jar. You could skip this step if you like. |
5. While the paint dries completely on the jar, paint the twigs white. |
6. When the paint on the twigs is completely dry start gluing the seed beads to the twigs. You will need to pick up each bead with the tweezers, dab the bead in the hot glue, and then attach the bead to the twig. This process will require a little bit of patience. |
7. After gluing the beads to the twigs arrange the twigs in the jar. 8. Wrap and glue the hemp around the top of the jar. 9. Tie a hemp bow around the top of the jar. |
You are now done. Stand back and admire how beautiful your creation turned out and then display it with pride in your home. And remember that this decoration is can be displayed year-round.
